Welcome to DOOMon FILM, a film blog presented by Chief and TheDoomsdayDevice (Austin, TX).

What started as a side-project to document my thoughts on films and the art of filmmaking quickly became a full-time passion. Originated in December of 2017, the blog continues to go strong through this day, sharing film reviews, thoughts on older movies, occasional analysis pieces, director and film series rankings, and during awards season, comprehensive breakdowns of the nominees as well as predictions and thoughts on the winners.
