Muggzy Flowz and Dr. Bobby Banner, M.P.C., the duo more formerly known as Wallaby and Bobbes, seems to have two things on their mind when they release work : class and classics. As for class, their presentation has always been consistently professional, with a down to earth aesthetic that makes connecting with their soulful music and thought-provoking lyrics that much easier. Visually, the crew always makes clips that you could place in the canon of class and current hip-hop videos, and the work will be quality enough to fit right in. Day in the Life finds the crew performing soundstage style this time, drowned in a white abyss as the camera floats around them like a spirit. Add the dissolves and fades that tie together visually like a dream, and you’ve got a hypnotic and mesmerizing video that will certainly rack up views. Definitely spread this one around.

Realest Estate :: Retr05pect And Friends Go In On ‘The Real Estate Sessions’

With so much talent in the Austin hip-hop scene, it’s amazing that we don’t see more producer-led projects featuring the best of their MC affiliates from track to track. Ruler Why comes to mind, and I’m sure I’m forgetting others, but the numbers aren’t as high as they potentially could be. Retr05pect, however, looks as if he’s attempting to skew that data with the release of the rock solid project The Real Estate Sessions, a project rooted in the discovery of a 45″ record collection at an estate sale. The production throughout this project is top notch, as one would expect Retr05pect production to be.. it’s paced well, the skits provide just enough breathing room between song groupings, and the choices for MCs were right on the money. You’ll find some of my favorite people on these tracks : Click-Clack, Muggzy Flowz, Scuare, no1mportant, Rudi DeVino, and Black DaVinci all spit quality bars and concepts. I’m looking forward to keeping this one heavy in my DJ rotations.

In preparation for an upcoming project, they recently decided to go in-house on the creative tip and put together a video for their latest single, GAWTBS. The song is strong, and the video is a solid representation of Indelible Inc. making things happen for themselves. Give it a view, give it a like and give it a share.

Throw in AMX alumn and …&more… wordsmith No1mportant for guest bars, and you’ve got the mellow banger Openwide. Throw in some DVZN Media video expertise, and you’ve got one hell of a music video. Props to Promise Psuedo, Kilmatik and more for making guest appearances the way rappers used to appear in one another’s videos back in the day. This is all wonderful.
