Mental Blessings :: StormShadow And Dr. Bobby Banner, MPC Visualize ‘The Pathway’

The Indelibe Inc. camp stays in creative mode, and their latest output is a solid slice of inspiration messaging courtesy of StormShadow, one of Austin‘s more forward thinking and esoteric MCs.  With the help of Dr. Bobby Banner, MPC on both production and creation of the accompanying video, Storm presents the masses with guidance in terms of bars that focus on recognizing the power within you, harnessing your understanding through education, and learning how to focus your energies into positive outcomes for yourself and your circle.  I’ve always been a fan of where Storm‘s head is at, and The Pathway is just further proof that he’s on the right track creatively.  Check out the video, like it and leave a comment to help boost its YouTube presence, and share it around so others can do the same.

Master Crafting :: Bern Ichus Goes Public With The Beats On ‘Yasuaki’

Screenshot_1

As 2017 came to a close, Austin-based MC Bern Ichus (one half of Homeroom) made it clear that he was a man obsessed, and had plans for expanding his repertoire.  Already forever hungry for beats to feed his rhyme-writing output, Bern invested in an MPC and immediately went to work.  In a relatively short time, he seems to be getting comfortable with his tools, and after roughly a month he is going public with beats.  The first, Yasuaki, is incredibly textured and mood driven for an early composition, as if it did not need lyrics to exist and would be fine as an instrumental piece.  I look forward to seeing what the future holds for Bern Ichus as he becomes a more confident and skilled producer, because I know for certain that his love for hip-hop will shine through, regardless of what he does.

Healing Sounds :: Dr. Bobby Banner, MPC Drops ‘Tape B’ To Close Out 2017

Dr. Bobby Banner, MPC (the production half of Ndelible Ink) is well known for his deeply textured and hypnotic tracks.  Tape B finds this tradition continued… each track is a journey upon itself, and the variety from track to track keeps the listener enthralled and deeply tuned in.  With a partially alphabetical listing, and an incomplete one at that, I hope that this is merely part one of a duo… I will definitely have my eyes and ears open in hopes that this is the case.  Be sure to give this one a listen, a share, a download, and maybe even a buck or two if you have it to spare.

Brief Introduction :: Ben Buck Has ‘Been Buck’

One of the 2016 bright moments was meeting Ben Buck at Beerland during The Triggermen‘s album release show.  I was familiar with the name, but knew nothing about him as an artist.  Needless to say, his wonderful balance of beats, bars and beatboxing blew my mind.  His latest release, Been Buck, is a collaboration with beatsmith supreme Dr. Bobby Banner, MPC.  It’s reminiscent of those early 90s hip-hop tracks where you were allowed to be honest about yourself, joke about yourself and be a little clever as well, before everyone started taking themselves way too seriously.  Good jam for sure, and I’m looking forward to a full-length project… hopefully sooner than later!

Ready Position :: Indelible Inc.’s ‘Openwide’ Hits The Airwaves

Indelible Inc., the combination of Muggzy Flowz bars and Dr. Bobby Banner, MPC‘s beats, is no doubt a sure shot winning team.  Throw in AMX alumn and …&more… wordsmith No1mportant for guest bars, and you’ve got the mellow banger Openwide.  Throw in some DVZN Media video expertise, and you’ve got one hell of a music video.  Props to Promise PsuedoKilmatik and more for making guest appearances the way rappers used to appear in one another’s videos back in the day.  This is all wonderful.

Uplift Music :: ‘Toss Salad’ By Muggzy Flowz

Bars.  That’s what Muggzy Flowz has always been known for.  This particular track is a Dr. Bobby Banner MPC creation for the upcoming Musicology Mixtape.  toss salad is straight beats and rhymes, and it excels on both sides, so that’s always going to work for me.  I’m sure it will work for you too,
