I’ve known that my friend Carrie McKinley was a pianist for years. I remember her expressing a desire to begin writing songs back in the day, and I’ve seen the want to be able to eventually perform her songs or write songs for others to perform. In the waning days of 2011 and the beginning of 2012, Carrie finally began to make those dreams a reality… enter Anchor, the debut project. A five song journey through the thoughts and feelings of a truly beautiful individual, this album is a highly anticipated must share… for fans of music with substance, definitely.
