After dropping Interdependence, a compilation curated by Weird Rap in hopes of raising money for those impacted by COVID-19, Th’ Mole found himself caught between new and refreshed connections with a handful of talent, and a world devolving into a breaking point of racial tension and minority/police interactions filled with struggle and strife. With such a striking crossroads laid out, it only seemed logical to address both of these things directly, and with Lil’ Ghostwriter‘s Inner Plenum EP on the verge of release through Weird Rap Records, the duo decided to address the issues and ills with urgency. Over a chaotic, edge-filled production by Th’ Mole, Lil’ Ghostwriter lays out a laundry list of facts and observations dealing directly with the blemish-filled past relations between police and minorities.
