I’ve been bad about putting out mixtapes lately, despite the countless number of live DJ sets I do these days. You’d think that, with a steady diet of influence and practice at these sets, in combination with homeboys like poolboi blu steadily releasing solid mixes, that I’d be better about it, but like most of my art, I strike when the spirit moves me to. After inspiration from the aforementioned poolboi blu release of his latest sincere mix, plus some talk with a friend about the latest Solange album, a list of songs jumped to mind that I felt would fit well together. Sometime shortly before dawn, the mix was completed, the album cover was created, and the entire thing found its way to Bandcamp for all of you to enjoy, so please do so! Share it with a friend too!
