A few months back, I played a house party for Frownland Records. I had the pleasure of seeing many diverse bands and meeting plenty of new faces. One of those faces that has stood out was Ghost of Electricity. His approach was unique, and the music was as haunting as it was raw and powerful. BLXPLTN are on the precipice of major upward movement. They are en route to Afropunk Festival in NYC, and their new album Black Cop Down is getting lots of attention before it’s even hit the streets.
