Lo Phi and I worked hard on this project. I worked hard on this video. You take it easy and enjoy having a spell put on you.

Anom and Brokebread are good dudes. The music they make collectively as Big Package is dope. Over the years, they’ve worked with a who’s who of talented Texas hip-hop artists. Finally is their opportunity to showcase the love they’ve shown and been shown… enjoy it, share it, and hope there will be another collaboration album in the future!

Gold Standard Hip-Hop is a Knoxville based radio show (90.3 FM) dedicated to bringing listeners “the finest cuts of alternative, independent and odball rap musack other stations are too scared to play”. They recently released a compilation of their favorite songs this summer, and lo and behold, the homie Hut out of Austin (and a longtime veteran of Austin Mic Exchange) sets off the compilation! It’s full of good stuff, so give it a listen, and support those who support the independents.

Loving this video from D.O.S. The beat is by Ruler Why, so you already know it’s a banger. The video feels like 1992, 1993 or so… right before Hype Williams took over the visual landscape. Somewhere in the realm of the original Nas videos, or the comeback era Kool G Rap videos. Either way, it’s dope, and there are some familiar faces (and masked faces) sprinkled throughout.

words from Click-Clack:
“Enough talk.
I spent the month of July writing and recording this mixtape with some of my best friends. Big shout outs to Bradley Will of Holiday Mountain for mastering the project and to Javier Antonio Avellán for the artwork. Thank you to everyone who has supported this project and my progress leading up to it. I kindly ask that you donate ANYTHING, as I am releasing this project for free after spending nearly a grand on it’s release.
Without future ado:
THE CLICK-CLACK MIXTAPE“

DDotElles has been busy for a number of months now… several releases are planned for the near future, and this collaboration with IckyWoodz is just the beginning. The beats are dope, and you can always count on clever and skillfully woven lyrical content from DDotElles. Spread the word on this one.

This album is a B A N G E R. Mad One (lyricist) and Furthermore (beatsmith) really have something on their hands worth being proud of with Mathematics For Savages. Musically, the production is consistent, and the album has a very steady flow to it. All of the words spoken feel chosen, not just thrown out as placeholders on a sonic landscape. The B-Hop guest features add the slightest bit of variety… a well balanced project overall. Definitely worth your time and your money, and worth spreading the word about.

After the successful testing of the waters with Wax On, AnnaLove and Cory Kendrix has unleashed the EP Worth Something. It’s a bit of a new venture for both, but the collective middle ground is definitely worth everybody’s time and attention. Hopefully, a full length will arrive in the future, and good things will come for both parties involved. Download it, share it, and bang it daily.
