Digital Playground :: Brainwavve Releases ‘FUTURESOON’
As 2020 continues to truck along, (iN)Sect Records moves right along with it in terms of releasing top quality music. Recently, San Antonio-based glitch synthpop mastermind Brainwavve rolled out his latest release, FUTURESOON, a collection of colorful sounds and textures with a driving force behind it. The mostly instrumental collection gives plenty of emotional shades, and the three unique features from Bragglights, Black Davinciii and Honey Son only add to the range of experience. As far as the electronic soundscape of Texas, it looks like Brainwavve is firmly set as a key member of the scene, and FUTURESOON is a strong statement of that fact. Check it out, share it around for others, and if you’ve got the funds, jump over to his Bandcamp and donate a few bucks.
Making Time :: Brainwaave Drops A Mix For Timewheel Radio Show
With FUTURESOON coming right around the corner, Brainwaave was recently offered the opportunity to create some buzz via TIMEWHEEL. Brainwaave took the opportunity to not only give us a sonic palette cleanser in preparation, but he also put the shine on a number of local producers and MCs as well via a strong mix set now streaming on the TIMEWHEEL RADIO SHOW. With the likes of Vegetable Kingdom, Honey Son, Black Davinciii, Butcher Bear and myself, and many, many more making appearances, it’d be silly to not check out the mix, so dive in, leave a like and a comment if you dig, and share it around so everyone can get prepped for FUTURESOON.
Wired In :: Trieyevision Unleashes ‘#DataGang’ On The Listening Public
When it comes to forward thinking sonically, there are a handful of Texas-based artists that always keep things interesting. A contingent of these artists have collaborated under the umbrella name of Trieyevision to drop a boom-bap blitzkrieg known as #DataGang. The lineup consists of Persephone, 7LayerOscillator, Black Davinciii, Tony Dark, mlcbr and Deerail, and the stimulation comes non-stop on this one. The tracks are unique, and the lyrics have substance, making this 5 song collection’s whole greater than the sum of its parts. Definitely one worth putting on your radar and spreading around.
