I must admit, I was extremely happy to see this video come down the pipeline. Notes Floats and FluidOneStudios have been putting together some good work lately. The latest video, All Day, features some good friends, and some good shots of Austin. A thing of beauty is a joy forever.

My man P-Tek is one of the most creative and hard-working artists in the Austin area. He’s the brains behind Austin Mic Exchange at 29th St. Ballroom every Tuesday night, and he makes some of the most entertaining videos I’ve seen in quite a while. Here are two… enjoy!

DDotElles and Haris have combined forces for a banger off the forthcoming LP The Aristocrats. Short, but sweet, so dig in…

More hotness from Grind Life Films. This time, it’s a collaboration with Austin mainstay Clemits, and it’s an effort off of Skeleton Crew, which is available on any medium you can download music. Dig:

My man Tee Double never stops working. This cat has more albums than Grateful Dead… Sonic Youth… Miles Davis… and so on. The latest one may just go down as an offical Austin classic. The hometown kids will know what I’m talking about, because this album is like a parallel reality between today’s growth and the unity of the Austin hip-hop community during the mid-1990’s.
The beats bang throughout, the production is unique while still being accessible, and Tee brings the lyrical heat as always. Job well done.

A ton of Austin talent recently made the trek to Atlanta to take part in the wildly successful and ever expanding A3C Independent Hip Hop Festival 2013. For those looking for a bit of inspiration, LOEGz, SubKulture Patriots, Cory Kendrix and many more provided it with one snapshot:
The call has already been put out to make next year’s picture even bigger, so who’s ready to take part?

“MEX STEP is part of Third Root. REL is part of Chisme. Together they made the HOMEWORK EP. Although they have worked together before, this is the first official MEX STEP and REL project.”
