Act Now :: Jeffrey Garcia Releases DVD Commercial For ‘Henrietta And Her Dismal Display Of Affection’

Sneak Preview :: Jeffrey Garcia Releases Clips From ‘Henrietta And Her Dismal Display Of Affection’

This past week, the homie Jeffrey Garcia released a set of clips from his debut feature film Henrietta and Her Dismal Display of Affection.  In total, Jeffrey Garcia put five clips from his masterpiece up at his JeffysPlayhouse YouTube channel, all of which are wild, and all of which are worth checking out if you don’t mind your cinema spiced up with a bit of wildness and irreverence.  Above is a clip featuring my good friend Steve Jones and myself as Uncle Albert and Balderdash, respectively, as we invade a house party in the only way that a Jeffrey Garcia duo can.  Check it out, leave a like and a comment if you like it, share it around, and most importantly, jump over to the JeffysPlayhouse channel for more clips from Henrietta, as well as a world of other content.

Talking Shop :: Audio Commentary Tracks Now Available For ‘REPOSSESSION’ and ‘The Perpendicular’

For the 2 – 7 people out there in the world curious about the Chief and TheDoomsdayDevice process of short film-making, I have released audio commentary tracks for REPOSSESSION and The Perpendicular.  Myself, along with guests Troy Baham Jr.Tony Berg and Steve Jones discuss several aspects of the production of both films.

Hopefully, I will have the audio commentary ready and available for HELP ME in the near future, and I plan to make this a part of my production process from here on out.  If you like the videos, leave likes and comments, and share them around for all to enjoy!

Second Wave :: My Latest Short Film, ‘HELP ME’, Now Streaming Online

Who knew that, out of all the genres of films I love, all the years I’ve dedicated to learning the craft, that the only thing I can apparently make are spooky movies?  What started simply as an idea of the visual of an abandoned home with a grossly outdated printer that kept producing cryptic messages has turned into something tangible that I can be proud of.  HELP ME essentially put itself together… it was one of the most uniquely organic projects I have ever worked on.

Thank you to Delano Taylor, Kelsey Huckaby and Colton Ferguson for believing in the vision and turning words on a page into characters an audience can connect with.  Thank you to David Marrs for always being supportive, and for allowing us to use a location that became the true star of the show.  Thank you to Soda Diet and More Eaze for allowing the use of your music… it brought an entirely new degree of engagement to the project.  Thank you to Steve Jones for jumping in on the project and earning an upgrade from script supervisor credit to producer credit… you brought some good stuff to the table.  Thank you to the Lost River Film Festival for allowing us to submit, and for granting it Honorable Mention status.

And thank you to you, the individual who will hopefully watch it, share it, like it and leave a comment.  The project was made for the YouTube faithful, as I have been among your ranks for years now.  Here’s to many more coming, and here’s to bigger and better projects in the future.
